Thanks to Dvogonen Kjell Kernen who rewrote the firmware (please see github) and suggested this small graphical display. Works very well! Thanks Kjell, I’ll buy you a beer if you ever come to Thailand.
I also put a pair of really strong reading glasses just attached with rubber bands. The glasses are right for this purpose but other wise they are far too strong for me. Attached like this they remain where they should be, inside the cyclops.
